Sergio Rodriguez, FNP
Advanced Practice Clinician
Mr. Rodriguez was born in Corpus Christi and spent most of his life growing up in Laredo, Texas. He found his passion as a nurse at a young age while volunteering at a local hospital when he was just 14 years old.
After receiving his degrees, he gained valuable experience working in the hospital setting, including the ICU, Post-Anesthesia Care, Cath Lab and the Emergency Room. He also worked in the specialty area of Ear, Nose and Throat. Although learning much in these specialty fields, he wanted to take a more comprehensive approach to his patients’ care. It was then that he took on a very satisfying role of a primary care provider.
Being a primary care provider allows Mr. Rodriguez to have a more proactive part in stabilizing or enhancing his patients’ overall health. This is very important to him because he looks at more than just the physical wellbeing of his patients. He wants his patients to live vibrant, healthy and fulfilled lives and commits to do all he can to help with that process.
When not tending to the needs of his patients, Mr. Rodriguez enjoys spending time with his family and participating in most sports.
