Thomas Traylor, FNP
Advanced Practice Clinician
Mr. Traylor was born in the beautiful Northeastern part of Tennessee, not far from the famous Bristol International Raceway. He enjoyed the scenery of the Blue Ridge Mountains, which is part of the Appalachian Trail.
After moving a few times, he landed in San Antonio attended Robert E. Lee High School. Upon graduating high school, Mr. Traylor attended the University of South Carolina and continued his education at the University of Texas at San Antonio where he received his Master’s Degree in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
Along with exceling in the classroom, Mr. Traylor also received many recognitions for his outstanding clinical expertise from South University, Texas A&M University, University of Texas at El Paso and University of Texas at San Antonio for his role as preceptor of Nurse Practitioner students. Mr. Traylor has been precepting students since 2014.
When not tending to his patients, Mr. Traylor enjoys bicycling, running, watching his beloved San Antonio Spurs and working on his old house.
What Mr. Traylor enjoys most about being an Advanced Practice Clinician is the opportunity to make a difference in someone’s life. He enjoys helping others and finds it very rewarding collaborating with others to improve the lives of his patients. Medicine is always changing and he enjoys the challenge of making sure his patients receive the best care possible.
