James Walter, MD

Dr. James Walter was born and raised in a small town, Azle, outside of Fort Worth, TX. However, his education and training took him across Texas to Abilene, San Antonio, and Amarillo. His love of education, health, and science became seeded at an early age by his mother, a physician, and his father, a professor and museum director.

While working on his undergraduate degree, Dr. Walter was motivated and inspired into medicine through conversations with other physicians. Those conversations helped shape his career path and he knew that he wanted to help people improve their way of life. As a result, he enjoys opportunities to care for patients and has a passion for helping people feel their best.

When not treating patients, Dr. Walter enjoys competitive sports like basketball and outdoor activities like fishing and biking.
