Jose Ortiz, MD

Dr. Jose Ortiz was born and raised in Texas and has called San Antonio home since 2004. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and is well established as a highly skilled and compassionate physician. He is recognized for his exceptional care for those patients with a chronic illness including Diabetes and Hyperlipidemia.

What sets Dr. Ortiz apart is not only his medical expertise, but his calm demeanor as he works with his patients to ensure they receive the right care every time he meets with them. He loves answering all his patients questions and guiding their health decisions, always trying to give evidence based advise to each and every one of them. He is recognized by his peers for his focus on preventive healthcare and making sure his patients are well informed and empowered to take control of their health.

When not seeing patients, Dr. Ortiz enjoys relaxing with his wife and daughter. When the time allows it, Dr. Ortiz loves to travel with his family. Together, they constantly try to improve their daily diet for healthy eating habbits and stay active with exercise. As a family, they also like spending time with their friends and like to enjoy what the changing City of San Antonio has to offer.
