Nagalakshmi Koduri, MD

Dr. Nagalakshmi Koduri was born and raised in India. She completed her Medical degree from Guntur Medical College in India and completed her residency at Howard University Hospital in Washington, DC.

Dr. Koduri has been an outstanding hospitalist at Chesapeake Hospitals in Virginia Beach, VA as well as all the major hospitals here in San Antonio.

As a hospitalist, Dr. Koduri’s primary responsibility is to oversee the care and management of hospitalized HealthTexas patients. She sees a variety of acute illnesses and has the ability to treat a wide range of medical problems. It is her job to frequently communicate with the HealthTexas primary care doctor along with any other doctors whose expertise are needed to provide the highest quality of care while you are in the hospital. Once you are ready to be discharged, Dr. Koduri updates your primary care doctor regarding your hospital stay and provides necessary information to ensure you receive the appropriate follow-up care after your discharge.

When not seeing patients, Dr. Koduri enjoys relaxing at home with her family.
