Advanced Practice Clinician

About

Mrs. Sandra González was born and raised in San Antonio, TX. Her journey into the medical field began at Gallen College of Nursing, where she earned her LVN and Associates Degree of Nursing. Seeking further education, Sandra pursued her bachelor’s, master’s, and ultimately a degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner at the University of Texas at Arlington.

Bilingual and compassionate, Sandra’s decision to become an Advanced Practice Clinician stems from her childhood dream of becoming a doctor. Initially drawn to pre-med courses, she found her calling in nursing due to her passion for aiding others and connecting with patients on a profound level.

Sandra’s dedication to patient care was notably recognized by HCA when she played a pivotal role in the treatment of a 13-year-old child abandoned in the ER where she worked. Her involvement was so significant that it was documented in a film by HCA, showcasing her commitment to healthcare.

Beyond her medical duties, Sandra finds joy in indulging her hobbies. She delights in pampering herself with doing her own nails and embarking on travel and camping adventures with her family, often in their RV. With dual citizenship and birth certificates from both Mexico and the United States, Sandra embodies a rich cultural heritage.

Family holds a special place in Sandra’s heart. She shares her life with her beloved husband and their cherished son. Additionally, she’s a proud dog mom to Chanel and Archie, two adorable Dachshunds, as well as Max, a gentle Great Dane, and Alaska, a loyal Pit Bull.
