Zaida Y. Santos, FNP-C

Mrs. Zaida Enriquez was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Texas Tech University and went on to complete her master’s degree at the University of Texas at Arlington, where she also received her Family Nurse Practitioner degree. She is fluent in Spanish and is passionate about providing compassionate, patient centered care.

Zaida chose to become an Advanced Practice Clinician because of her strong desire to help others and make a meaningful difference in the lives of her patients and their families. During her time as a Registered Nurse, she was honored with multiple DAISY Award nominations and was recognized as the first “Great Catch” recipient at Methodist Hospital for promoting patient safety.

Outside of caring for patients, Zaida enjoys spending time gardening and plants a vegetable garden every year. She also loves to read, which is one of her favorite ways to relax. Zaida has been happily married for many years and, together with her husband, has two wonderful children, their son Eddie and their daughter Zoe. Their home is full of life with their pet chickens, affectionately called “the ladies,” along with their roosters and an indoor aquarium filled with fish.
