With roots in Belize City, Central America, Dr. Falen Miles brings a rich cultural background, extensive medical training and a deep commitment to patient care.
Dr. Miles earned his medical degree from Washington University of Health and Science in San Pedro, Belize, and completed his residency at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, where he discovered the heart of being a teacher in medicine, receiving recognition he never expected after his first year. During his time in residency, he also became more fluent in Spanish, expanding his ability to connect with a broader patient community.
Since moving to San Antonio, Dr. Miles has embraced the city’s nature–focused lifestyle and the many opportunities to enjoy the outdoors. An avid hiker, he looks forward to exploring more of San Antonio and Texas. Growing up with five sisters, he discovered a passion for cooking by watching his mother in the kitchen. He also enjoys playing beach volleyball in his free time.
Dr. Miles was drawn to HealthTexas by the shared mission of helping patients and working toward a common goal of compassionate care. “Building trust with my patients takes time, and I believe trust comes from listening carefully and showing kindness” he says. Dr. Miles approach reflects his cultural roots, medical expertise, and love of connection to provide patient-centered care.
