PHYSCIAN’S RETURN TO ALAMO CITY FULL CIRCLE
SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS (FEBRUARY 2024) — Dr. Stacey Saunders was born and raised in San Antonio. She graduated from Health Careers High School and St. Mary’s University. She then set out to build a career in medicine that came with stints in Grenada, West Indies; Brooklyn, New York; and completing her residency in Madisonville, Kentucky.
She returned to Texas as a Board Certified Family Medicine physician. She was most recently a resident of Uvalde community but decided to move back to San Antonio to be closer to family.
Her deep love of science led her to medicine, also fueling her hobby of gardening. Practicing medicine revolves around also being a parent to her 3 1/2-year-old daughter and her 2-year-old son. Fortunately, being a native San Antonian also includes having her mother here, and two sets of grandparents to complete her extended family support group.
Dr. Saunders finds it extremely rewarding to help patients with their health goals. She is now seeing patients at the HealthTexas Westover Hills Clinic, 10307 State Hwy 151, San Antonio, TX (78251).
