About Us
In 2019, HealthTexas introduced the Helotes Clinic. Nestled in the northwest, this clinic offers convenience with its location off 1604 West and Bandera Road, serving as one of the primary entry points into this lively small town community. Helotes, named after the Spanish word “elotes” meaning “corn-on-the-cob,” has a history as a stagecoach stop between San Antonio and Bandera. Covering 5,500 square feet, this clinic houses 9 examination rooms and accommodates 3 healthcare providers.

Yes, we have bilingual doctors and staff members available at all of our clinics. If you prefer to communicate in a specific language, please let us know, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
Only existing patients can schedule an appointment online through our Patient Portal. Simply click the “Patient Portal” tab on the top of the page.
Yes, HealthTexas accepts a wide range of insurance plans including Medicare and Medicare Advantage. We do not however accept Medicaid only or The Marketing Exchange (Obamacare). To verify if your insurance is accepted, please contact any clinic.
