About Us

In January 2024, HealthTexas expanded its commitment to the Schertz Community by opening a newly constructed clinic along the main thoroughfare of FM 3009. This new clinic, located just 4 miles from our previous leased space at the intersection of IH 35 and Schertz Parkway since June 2022, is positioned in the heart of Schertz, nestled between San Antonio and New Braunfels within Guadalupe County. This strategic location allows us to better address the healthcare needs of the wider community of small cities in the area, including Cibolo, Converse, Garden Ridge, Live Oak, Marion, Selma, St. Hedwig, and Universal City.

Spanning approximately 7,000 square feet, the clinic features a spacious reception lobby, 11 examination rooms, 1 procedure room, ample parking, and covered drop-off and pickup areas. Currently, there are 2 healthcare providers serving patients, with space available to accommodate a total of 4 providers.

HealthTexas Primary Care Doctors has 18 clinics in the San Antonio Region. Our network of neighborhood clinics are conveniently located to serve you better.
You can easily find a clinic by using our “Find a Location” tab on our website. Simply hover over the locations drop down menu, select your city, and explore our locations near you.
Your appointment time is the actual time to see your provider. We ask you to arrive early to check-in, complete needed paperwork, triage your vitals, and review your medications and medical history. New patients – please arrive 30 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time. Existing patients – please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time.

Yes, we have bilingual doctors and staff members available at all of our clinics. If you prefer to communicate in a specific language, please let us know, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.

Only existing patients can schedule an appointment online through our Patient Portal. Simply click the “Patient Portal” tab on the top of the page.

Yes, HealthTexas accepts a wide range of insurance plans including Medicare and Medicare Advantage. We do not however accept Medicaid only or The Marketing Exchange (Obamacare). To verify if your insurance is accepted, please contact any clinic.
