Claudia Santos, MD

Dr. Claudia Santos was born and raised in Laredo, Texas. After completing her residency, Dr. Santos developed a passion for caring for patients through inpatient hospital medicine and began practicing as a community hospitalist in 2009.

During her time as a hospitalist, Dr. Santos gained extensive experience managing a wide range of acute illnesses and complex medical conditions while providing care for hospitalized HealthTexas patients. She worked closely with primary care physicians to ensure effective communication and continuity of care throughout each patient’s healthcare journey.

Dr. Santos now brings her years of hospital medicine experience to her role as a Primary Care Physician with HealthTexas. She is dedicated to building lasting relationships with her patients, providing compassionate, comprehensive care, and helping individuals achieve their best health.

Outside of caring for patients, Dr. Santos enjoys spending time with her family.
