Claudia A. Aguero, MD

Dr. Claudia Aguero was born and raised in San Antonio and is Board Certified in Family Medicine. For her, being a physician is more of a calling than a profession and it is a privilege to be part of her patients lives. She has a passion for caring for each patient’s mental, physical and spiritual well-being. Previously, she served as Department Chief of Family Medicine for Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen and was Adjunct Faculty at The University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. Many of her patients travel all the way from the Valley to continue their care with her.
Dr. Aguero is married to a cardiac nurse and is proud that caring for others seems to be a family trait! She has two grown children and enjoys spending time with her family. She also likes traveling, fishing, gardening and hiking.
