Dr. Claudia Aguero was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas, and is board-certified in family medicine. With over 26 years of experience as a physician, she brings seasoned clinical expertise and a deep commitment to compassionate, whole-person care. For Dr. Aguero, medicine is more than a profession-it is a calling and a privilege to walk alongside patients through all stages of life.

She is passionate about supporting her patients’ mental, physical, and spiritual well-being, with a strong focus on prevention and lifestyle change. Dr. Aguero is currently completing a fellowship in lifestyle medicine and pursuing certification in herbal medicine. At home, she tends to a thriving medicinal herb garden, reflecting her love of natural healing and plant-based therapies. She has a special interest in women’s health and life transitions, and she is dedicated to helping individuals take proactive steps to prevent chronic illness and enhance their quality of life.

She is married to a registered nurse, and together they share a strong family tradition of caregiving. She is the proud mother of an adult son and daughter, stepmother to two adult stepchildren, and a joyful grandmother-with more grandchildren on the way. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, fishing, gardening, Pilates, and spending time with her growing family.
