About
Dr. Dan Powell was born in Amarillo, Texas and raised in Bedford, Texas outside the Dallas-Ft. Worth area. He is Board Certified in Family Medicine and has been practicing medicine for over 25 years. He is a very compassionate physician and feels that being a doctor is an honor. He is also proficient in Spanish.
Dr. Powell has been consistently recognized for his exceptional care from his patients and peers earning the designation of Best Doctor in San Antonio. He also serves as the Medical Director of the QPIC Medicare ACO at HealthTexas.
When not taking care of his patients, Dr. Powell enjoys fitness, hunting and Spurs basketball. He is married and has two adult children.
