About
Born in San Antonio, Texas, Dr. Daniela Alexander was raised between The Woodlands, Texas, and Gävle, Sweden, where her family lived for five years due to her father’s career. Her experiences in Texas and Sweden, along with traveling throughout Europe, shaped her appreciation for different cultures and communities. She is bilingual in Spanish and Swedish.
Dr. Alexander earned her undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University at Galveston and her medical degree from the University of Medicine and Health Sciences in St. Kitts and Nevis. She completed her Family Medicine Residency at Baylor Scott & White in Temple in 2023, where she was honored as Resident of the Year during her second year.
Inspired by a rural physician who provided comprehensive, relationship-centered care, Dr. Alexander chose Family Medicine to build meaningful relationships with patients and serve her community. She believes in meeting patients where they are, creating a judgment-free environment and empowering them to make informed decisions about their health.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Alexander enjoys gardening and spending time with her husband, their two young children and three dogs. Proudly “Tex-Mex,” she celebrates both her Mexican and Texas roots.
