About
Diane Snape was born and raised in Belize City, Central America, and migrated to the United States at the age of 15. She completed high school and began pursuing higher education, ultimately earning both her undergraduate and graduate degrees from UT Health San Antonio.
With 17 years of experience in critical care—including roles in Adult Emergency Departments and Intensive Care Units—Diane made the decision to advance her career as an Advanced Practice Clinician (APC). Her transition into this role was driven by a passion for partnering with patients and helping them reach their health goals through compassionate, evidence-based care.
Diane has over a decade of experience at CommuniCare Health Centers, where she also served as Director of Family Practice for three years. Her career has also included time at Fort Sam Houston and a unique opportunity to practice in Hawaii for nearly two years.
Outside of her clinical work, Diane enjoys spending quality time with her family, staying active through a variety of fitness routines, and cooking. She is also dedicated to giving back, regularly volunteering through her church to provide medical services to the uninsured.
