Diego Trevino, PA-C

Diego Treviño was born and raised in La Feria, Texas. His educational journey led him to the University of Texas Rio Grande, where he pursued both his undergraduate and postgraduate studies.

The decision to become an Advanced Practice Clinician was deeply rooted in his childhood experiences. Growing up, whenever Diego felt ill or was injured, his family turned to their neighborhood doctor and the trusted physician assistant. Their uncanny ability to pinpoint his ailments and provide effective treatments not only relieved his pain but also left a lasting impression on Diego. Their compassionate care and ability to create a comforting environment resonated with him, especially as a shy child, influencing his path toward becoming a PA.

When not treating patients, Diego finds joy in various activities. He is an avid gym-goer, enjoys binge-watching shows, and loves exploring new coffee shops. Being a twin has also been a significant part of his life; he values the strong bond he shares with his brother and recognizes the impact of teamwork. Diego’s household also includes an English bulldog named Maui, who brings further joy and companionship to his life.
