Melanie Olivarez, PA-C

Mrs. Melanie Olivarez was born and raised in Santa Rosa, Texas. She has worked in primary care, specifically Internal Medicine for 8 years. Her goal as an Advanced Practice Clinician is to provide good quality healthcare for those with the greatest need while following an evidence based approach in hopes of making a difference in someone’s healthcare as well as the community.

Mrs. Olivarez realized her calling as a Physician Assistant when she was involved in medical mission trips to Mexico to help the underprivileged. It was very rewarding to see how she was able to make a difference in the health of an individual who had no access to healthcare. The gratitude of those patients impacted her desire and dedication to continue striving to improve the health of others as a whole. Mrs. Olivarez enjoys learning the most she can about her patients.

When not with patients, Mrs. Olivarez loves to enjoy life. She appreciates traveling, attending sports events and spending her time with friends and family. She is married to her high school sweetheart and has 3 daughters.
