About Us
In 2019, HealthTexas unveiled its largest clinic, the San Pedro Clinic. This clinic now houses the first-ever HealthTexas clinic, Lexington, which first opened its doors in 1994 in downtown San Antonio. Additionally, it is home to the Metro clinic, which was established in 2006. The San Pedro area holds significant historical importance in San Antonio’s history, situated on the 46-acre San Pedro Springs Park, the oldest park in Texas. This area was once home to a Payaya Indian village called Yanaguana, the original site of the city of San Antonio. Covering an expansive 30,628 square feet, the San Pedro Clinic features 20 examination rooms and serves 6 healthcare providers. In late 2020, HealthTexas also inaugurated a community center named after its first President & CEO and Founder, Dr. Richard S. Reyna.

Yes, we have bilingual doctors and staff members available at all of our clinics. If you prefer to communicate in a specific language, please let us know, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
Only existing patients can schedule an appointment online through our Patient Portal. Simply click the “Patient Portal” tab on the top of the page.
Yes, HealthTexas accepts a wide range of insurance plans including Medicare and Medicare Advantage. We do not however accept Medicaid only or The Marketing Exchange (Obamacare). To verify if your insurance is accepted, please contact any clinic.
