Lauren Bishop, MD

Dr. Lauren Bishop was born and raised in Grapevine, Texas. She completed her Bachelor of Science at Baylor University in Waco, Texas. She then attended Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. In addition to her medical degree, she completed coursework and research, earning a certificate in Space Medicine. She completed her Family Medicine residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, where she served as Academic Chief Resident.

Dr. Bishop was inspired to pursue family medicine by her father, also a family physician. He has been a role model and mentor to Dr. Bishop in building meaningful relationships with patients and finding a deep sense of purpose and fulfillment in this work.

When not caring for patients, Dr. Bishop enjoys making crafts, hiking nature trails, and spending time with her friends and family. She has a cat and two rescue dogs.
